This hydrangea festival takes place in Oohirasan, a town famous for both its hydrangeas and its cherry blossoms! The event activities mostly surround the Oohirasan Shrine, where the paths are lined with beautiful purple and blue flowers. During the festival there will be marionette performances, and a hydrangea haiku competition!
