Tokyo's Philatelic Museum is a museum all about stamps, like the ones that go on postcards and letters, and if you've always thought that stamp collecting sounds like a boring hobby, the museum might change your mind! The museum regularly chooses selections from its impressive collection of stamps and puts them on display, showing off the huge variety of very, very small art that finds its way onto postage stamps around the world.
This winter, the Philatelic Museum's exhibition area will host "Bear Bear Bear," a collection of stamps featuring (you guessed it), bears! From realistic smiling brown bears on Portuguese postage to traditionally illustrated pandas on Chinese stamps, this exhibition shows off art from around the world, on the smallest scale.
