Yoshitaka Shinsuke Exhibition (Tokyo)
Apr 09, 2022 - Jul 03, 2022
ヨシタケシンスケ展かもしれない
This exhibition is the first ever large-scale solo exhibition for Japanese illustrator Yoshitaka Shinsuke, who found widespread popularity with the 2013 publication of his picturebook "It Might Be An Apple" (りんごかもしれない), which was a hit among both kids and adults. Since the days before the book's rise to popularity, and ever since, Yoshitaka Shinsuke has found fans around Japan and even overseas thanks to his fine-line illustrations, which are both adorably simple, and uniquely humorous. Head to this exhibition to see more than 400 works, including little sketches and original pieces used in his picture books, and to get a little peek into the artist's process and inspirations, as well!
