美少女戦士セーラームーンミュージアム
While this Sailor Moon museum isn't a brand new building devoted to Japan's most famous magical girl and her Sailor Scouts, the Sailor Moon-themed exhibition is set to take over the Roppongi Museum for a full half-year in 2022, celebrating the famous manga's 30th anniversary! The exhibition will focus on a collection of more than 600 unique Sailor Moon items, with displays of original illustrations drawn by the original manga artist Naoko Takeuchi, storyboards from the anime, rare Sailor Moon merchandise, costumes used in past Sailor Moon musicals, and much more - including some artworks never before exhibited. The exhibition will also include some unique multimedia exhibits, like holograms made to show off Sailor Moon scenes from every direction, and an immersive experience theater that uses images and lasers to recreate the colorful world of the manga all around you. Visitors who sit down to eat at the exhibition's special cafe will get to try fun dishes like "In the name of the moon, I shall punish you! Omurice" shaped like a crescent moon, and the "Cosmic Heart Compact Dessert Plate," but there are some pretty cute decorated sugar cookies available to take home, too!
