For most fans in the West, the name Katsushika Hokusai brings to mind the image of small boats being swallowed by a large wave in front of Mt. Fuji, but Hokusai created art depicting numerous subjects, which is clear if you visit his relatively new museum in Sumida, Tokyo. This particular exhibition features the people of Tokyo about their daily activities, with residents at work and at play.
