Blue Ramen Inspired by The Hawaiian Sea: Kipposhi Ramen

Located in the busy Shibuya area, Kipposhi Ramen has recently become a true Instagram star, attracting social media gurus from all over to world to sample their clear blue ramen. This ramen uses a broth made from chicken stock, and while the ingredient that makes it so blue is a secret, they say it's all natural. Using a careful process to keep the chicken from clouding the broth, Kipposhi's blue ramen will blow you away with its deep color, and delicate flavor. Additionally, Kipposhi offers ramen in other cool colors using different ingredients, in case you're looking for more of a rainbow effect on your social media. Take advantage of Kipposhi's relaxing cafe-style atmosphere to slow down and take a couple of snaps for Snapchat, while you chow down with friends.

Only 30 Bowls of Oxtail Soup Are Made Each Day at Tee-Tee!

Hawaiian Cafe & Bar Tee-Tee's signature Oxtail Soup Ramen was born from a beautiful meeting of Hawaiian oxtail, coriander, and classic ramen noodles. After slowly simmering the soup base to bring out the traditional deep flavors of oxtail soup, this tasty ramen is served with ginger, parsley, oxtail, and shallots. It comes served in a big pink bowl, perhaps leading to its current popularity among cute-loving residents of Tokyo and Instagram alike. The specially made and somewhat unusual oxtail soup base has certainly brought it some attention, though, similar to the unique pufferfish ramen we've written about before.

Lemony Fresh Ramen Straight From The Seto Inland Sea: Neiroya Ramen

Neiroya offers a refreshing take on ramen, quite literally, as it uses fresh and natural ingredients to create a uniquely flavorful bowl of ramen. We're recommending the Setouchi Lemon Ramen, which really highlights the flavor of Setouchi lemons, famous in Japan for their great taste. This particular bowl of ramen mixes a rich chicken base with lemon juice, creating a fragrant soup with great mouthfeel, without making the soup overly heavy. Topped with tenderly cooked chicken, you're unlikely to go home hungry! If you finish the whole bowl and are still in the mood for a little something sweet and refreshing, however, Neiroya's kakigori (かき氷), shaved ice, is also a customer favorite.
