印象派 モネからアメリカへ ウスター美術館所蔵
Celebrating 150 years of Impressionist art, on the 150th anniversary of the very first Impressionist exhibition, “Frontiers of Impressionism” takes a good look at the art of the late 18th century, and the way it flowed throughout Europe and the United States. Reflecting the quickly changing world around them, Impressionist artists were bursting with innovative ideas and techniques, and the Worcester Art Museum has been collecting their work for well over 100 years. Check out this unique Impressionist exhibition to see paintings from some of France’s most famous artists, like Monet and Renoir, alongside notable works from Impressionist artists from other parts of Europe and the United States – most of which will be displayed in Japan for the very first time!
