The first item to catch our eye was the vanilla sandwich cookie. Between crisp cookies is a rich vanilla chocolate filling made with fragrant Tahitian vanilla, with floral and fruity notes, and Yukishio salt from Miyakojima. Tahitian vanilla accounts for 61% of the vanilla used. The gentle sweetness of the Yukishio helps bring out the vanilla flavor even more. With each bite, the cookie crumbles delicately while the rich vanilla aroma fills your mouth and leaves a pleasant lingering finish. This is one of VANISTA’s signature products.

Other options include Vanilla Fleur, a delicate baked sweet shaped like a small flower, as well as a vanilla cake made with Tahitian vanilla and grass-fed butter, with grass-fed butter making up 90% of the butter used. The vanilla almond cake is layered with rich, smooth vanilla ganache and light vanilla mousse, then finished with a vanilla glaze.

Next is TOKYO TULIP ROSE. Built around the concept of “a flower shop filled with the aroma of butter and cheese,” this flower-inspired sweets brand has four locations in Tokyo, including one here at Seibu Ikebukuro.

The long-selling Tulip Rose Butter & Cheese features tulip petals made from crisp langue de chat cookies, with rose-shaped cream nestled inside. Its floral appearance makes it especially eye-catching as a Japan travel souvenir, while the combination of buttery, cheesy petals and a soft chocolate cream with a texture similar to fresh ganache has been described as tasting “like a rose melting gently inside a savory tulip.

AUDREY

Third is AUDREY, a Western-style confectionery brand centered around strawberries. Its signature product, Gracia, is a popular strawberry sweet in Japan, loved for its charming appearance that resembles a tiny bouquet. The brand’s first refrigerated dessert, the “Patisserie Sugar Butter Tree Fresh Butter Sandwich,” comes in a box of five. It combines SUGAR BUTTER TREE’s signature white chocolate with fermented butter and plenty of fresh cream made from 100% Hokkaido milk, creating an even richer, more indulgent flavor. With one bite, it melts softly in your mouth as the rich, creamy flavors of butter and fresh cream spread across your palate.

You will also find GATEAU FESTA HARADA, YOKU MOKU, known for its signature Cigare cookies, and Fukusaya (福砂屋), one of Nagasaki’s best-known traditional confectionery brands. The brand is already well known for its single eyeshadows, which can be freely mixed and matched, but its lineup also includes a full range of products from base makeup and color cosmetics to nail products. Recent releases have also placed more emphasis on beauty ingredients, highlighting the balance between skincare and makeup.

As you would expect from a brand with roots in professional makeup artistry, ADDICTION also offers an especially wide range of foundation shades. The formula spreads smoothly even with a small amount and applies evenly without clumping, whether you use your fingers or a brush. Another product that caught our attention is the Confident Matte Lip, released on August 7, 2026. Among the shades, “004 Preppy Rose” has a slightly matte texture and a color that naturally brightens the complexion, making it an easy item to recommend for your makeup pouch.

SUQQU

Next is SUQQU. The first item to look at is “SUQQU The Liquid Foundation e,” renewed and released this February. The tax-free counter is located on the second floor of the annex. When using the tax-free service, a 1.55% handling fee is deducted from the refund amount.
