The “mobile sauna project” Sauna Town is setting up 10 temporary sauna tents in front of Shimokitazawa Station, each of which will be burning real firewood to create a serene, steamy sauna experience in the middle of bustling Tokyo. On top of a handful of shared sauna tents, the VIP sauna can also be reserved for up to 5 people, and anyone can enjoy the sauna-themed food and merchandise options available for purchase nearby.
