The Jozankei Nature Luminarie started in 2016, celebrating the 150th anniversary of nearby Jozankei Hot Spring. Now the area puts on enchanting light performances every year, along the gorge walking path in Futami Park. The surrounding forest and river glitter with artful illumination, and the Futami Suspension Bridge (a symbol of the area) is specially lit up for the occasion.
