Moreover, the main supporting towers rise 298.3 meters tall which makes it the third tallest supporting tower in the world!

Because the lights on the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge look like a pearl necklace to the locals, that's why the bridge is also called the "Pearl Bridge"!

Eshima Ohashi Bridge

Eshima Ohashi Bridge connects Sakaiminato in Tottori Prefecture and Matsue in Shimane Prefecture over the Nakaumi Lake.

What is special about this bridge?
Images of Eshima Ohashi Bridge is widely circulated on the internet because it looks very steep in the pictures!! Actually................it is not that steep at all! The actual measurement, in fact, it's only 3.44 degrees on Tottori side and only 2.86 degrees on Shimane side!
We need to use the optical illusion technique to take such wonderful picture.

Actually it is very simple to take that picture! Just use a telescope lens and take it at a far distance where you can compress the views of the front and behind, plus taking it with a good angle, then you can make such an amazing picture too!
