As part of this new Pokemon Happy Meal (or “Happy Set” in Japan) collab, diners will not only get Pokemon-themed toys with their Happy Meals, but for just three days from August 9th to 11th, customers will also receive special Pokemon trading cards! Each meal will include one card with an original illustration of Pikachu eating a burger, plus one randomly selected card.

The random card selection includes five cards: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly (the Paldea starter trio), plus fan-favorites Ralts and Riolu. That means with each Happy Meal, you get two cards: one fixed (Burger Pikachu) and one random! Fans who are most excited about this hungry Pikachu card will be relieved to note that all Happy Meal purchasers will get Pikachu, at least while supplies last.

Although the full lineup of the actual toy prizes for the Happy Meals hasn’t been officially revealed yet, teaser images show Pikachu and Charmander, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the rest of the characters. It’s clear that this isn’t just a Happy Meal for kids – it’s a dose of nostalgic happiness that will have Pokemon fans of all ages lining up for burgers and chicken nuggets!
