Demon Slayer fans rejoice – the wait is almost over! On June 28th a major Demon Slayer announcement left anime lovers salivating over a brand-new official trailer and a fresh poster for “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle,” AKA “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle,” the first installment of the long-awaited Infinity Castle Arc. The highly anticipated film is set to premiere in Japan on July 18th, 2025, with international releases following in August (mostly Asia) and September (Europe, the Americas, Australia, etc). Of course, this is only the beginning, with production staff at Ufotable planning to turn the arc into a three-part film series.

To kick off the anime’s Infinity Castle Arc – the epic conclusion of Tanjiro Kamado’s journey to save his sister Nezuko and defeat Muzan Kibutsuji’s demon army – Tanjiro and the Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps will be facing off against the upper moons of the Twelve Kizuki in Muzan’s ever-shifting Infinity Castle. For fans who have followed the ups and downs of Tanjiro’s demon slayer training, seen Nezuko defy all odds, and grown to love the unique quirks of each and every Hashira, this film promises a satisfying start to a dramatic finale.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Theme Songs by Aimer and LiSA

Two of the biggest names in J-pop, and a couple of the most popular artists in the anime soundtrack business, Aimer and LiSA are returning to the Demon Slayer franchise to perform the two main themes for the film. “A World Where the Sun Never Rises” (太陽が昇らない世界) is Aimer’s contribution, while LiSA’s track is called “Shine in the Cruel Night” (残酷な夜に輝け). Both tracks will be available on streaming platforms starting July 19th, the day after the Japanese film premier, and CDs will go on sale from July 23rd. Demon Slayer has a history of opening with emotionally charged lyrics and strong melodies, so even before the songs’ official release, expectations are high among anime fans!
