When planning a trip to Tokyo Disney Resort, it’s no secret that many travelers choose a hotel at Shin-Urayasu Station. Not only is Shin-Urayas next to Maihama Station—home to Tokyo Disney Resort—but the station also offers direct bus access to both Narita and Haneda airports. It’s also a convenient home base for visitors planning to head into central Tokyo, or well as the Kaihin-Makuhari area, known for its outlet shopping and large convention center. The area around the station is also extremely convenient, with shopping malls and large supermarkets, ideal when you want to pick up some travel essentials or get some shopping done. At the same time, the neighborhood is relaxed and far from the bustle of Tokyo, allowing visitors a chance to join in on experience ordinary Japanese life.

Spacious Rooms, Great Views, & Unique Layouts

Guest rooms at Urayasu Brighton Hotel Tokyo Bay are shockingly spacious for Japan, generally 42m2 or larger, with excellent natural lighting. The hotel offers 14 different room styles, with guest floors spanning from the 5th to the 21st floor. On the upper floors, the distinctive “Premium Doors” luxury rooms offer a particularly elevated experience.

Premium Doors Luxury Guest Rooms

The 3 Style (up to 2 guests)

Even just within the Premium Doors category, there are eight different room types, with different layouts including luxurious rooms where even the bath has its own view, Japanese-style resort spaces, and modern Japanese interiors.

The 3 Style

For example, “The 3 Style” (above) is a sleekly designed room with large windows facing the bed, allowing guests the chance to drift off while admiring the glittering night views and wake up bathed in soft morning sunlight.

All Premium Doors rooms are equipped with ReFa hair dryers and shower heads, bath amenities from the Japanese fragrance brand Sholayered, and DHC skincare products. Guests also get a selection of nice complimentary drinks and snacks, including alcoholic beverages, as well as an in-room capsule coffee machine.

Lover's Suite(最多入住兩人)

Room MIZUKAGAMI -The Upper View- (up to 4 guests) / Lover’s Suite (up to 2 guests)

Most Premium Doors rooms accommodate one or two guests, with the exception of the modern Japanese-style “Room MIZUKAGAMI -The Upper View-,” which can sleep up to four people.

The rooms are comfortable, but what really stands out is the special atmosphere, offering unique spaces especially nice for anniversaries and other special occasions. The “Lover’s Suite,” for instance, features a luxurious retro interior accented by a striking red sofa and fun circular bed that really sets the mood for a special evening, making it especially popular with couples.

Beyond the Premium Doors rooms, the hotel also offers a variety of additional styles that look nothing like your average Japanese hotel. Examples include the Western-style “Room Forest,” the Japanese-Western fusion “Room Danran,” and the “At Home Room”—notable for its bunk beds. Most rooms accommodate two to four guests, while larger options like the At Home Room can sleep up to six people, making them especially popular with big families staying with small children.

The mattresses used throughout the hotel were jointly developed by the hotel and long-established Japanese bed brand France Bed, with the aim of providing a premium sleep experience. Even many of the sofas have cushions made of the same mattress material, making them equally comfortable.
(Note that some rooms have sofas that do not use mattress cushions.)

All guest rooms are also equipped with leg massagers, shoe dryers, and humidifying air purifiers for a comfortable stay, even after a long day at Tokyo Disney Resort. Large windows also work to create an open and airy atmosphere, with views looking out at the city below, Tokyo Bay, or even the parks themselves.

A Breakfast Worth Waking Up Early For

浦安布萊頓飯店早餐

The breakfast at Urayasu Brighton Hotel Tokyo Bay is definitely something to look forward to, having once ranked No.1 at the Chiba Omotenashi Breakfast Festival. It even brings in locals looking for a decadent breakfast buffet experience.

浦安布萊頓飯店早餐

Guests can try fresh milk and yogurt produced locally in Chiba Prefecture, along with fresh fruit and salads, soups, even hot dishes made with fresh in-season ingredients. Some of the more unique highlights include ochazuke (a dish made with rice and broth) topped with Yonezawa wagyu beef shigure-ni, their signature French toast, and rich beef curry (a Japanese hotel classic). Whether you prefer a classic international breakfast or want to sample some traditional Japanese fare, the buffet offers something satisfying for everyone.

Gourmet Experiences For Your Japanese Food Tour

Next to the comfortable guest rooms, the dining options are some of the hotel’s greatest attractions, and it doesn’t stop at breakfast. The lobby lounge is known for its excellent tea and sweets (only appropriate for a hotel inspired by Brighton, England), while the teppanyaki restaurant and the main hotel bar are hidden gems for gourmets.

An English Tea Destination: Lobby Lounge “Sylph”

Certified by the Japan Tea Association, the hotel’s lobby lounge, Sylph, is known locally as the place for tea and light bites. The menu includes a variety of excellent British teas from Ahmad Tea, paired with delicate cakes and the lounge’s signature seasonal fruit dessert, the “Swan Parfait.”

Sylph is equally serious about its specialty coffee, only using the top 5% of carefully selected premium coffee beans.

浦安布萊頓飯店大廳

The hotel’s circular lobby sits under a large atrium, filling the space with soft natural light that filters through the translucent domed ceiling. Combined with the sound of a player piano, the atmosphere feels elegant, without being overly stuffy.

Sightseeing Near Tokyo Disney Resort: Shopping, Sightseeing, and Hidden Cherry Blossom Spots

Connected directly to Shin-Urayasu Station, the convenient location of Urayasu Brighton Hotel Tokyo Bay isn’t just good for Tokyo Disney Resort. It’s also well-located in terms of shopping, sightseeing, and general relaxation.

Around Shin-Urayasu Station

新浦安LAWSON便利商店
新浦安atre
MONA新浦安
新浦安AEON

Just outside the second-floor hotel exit (connected to the station) is a Lawson convenience store, perfect for travelers looking to pick something up at one of Japan’s famously well-stocked convenience stores. For travel emergencies, there’s nothing more convenient! But for more extensive shopping, visitors can head to the station building shopping complex “Atre,” or step outside to get to the “MONA Shin-Urayasu” shopping mall. You’ll find UNIQLO and H&M, 300-yen shops, drugstores, souvenir shops of all kinds, and restaurants, all nearby. The same station-side shopping complex includes the giant supermarket/shopping center AEON, offering groceries and more restaurants.

新浦安賞櫻若潮公園

The Shin-Urayasu area is laid back, and if you walk around the area during a time when locals are out and about, it offers a genuine peek into everyday Japanese life. Many people working in Tokyo and Chiba choose to live nearby, and the area around the hotel is filled with residential neighborhoods and green parks. In particular, Wakashio Park, located right beside the hotel, is lined with cherry blossom trees and known as a hidden gem for cherry blossom viewing during sakura season.

Cherry blossom trees also line both banks of the nearby Sakai River, so if you’re planning a visit during spring, you won’t want to miss the chance to enjoy a little casual flower viewing nearby.

Convenient Access to Central Tokyo & Other Nearby Attractions

In addition to Tokyo Disney Resort, Shin-Urayasu Station also offers direct train access to Kaihin-Makuhari Station, home to Makuhari Messe convention center and Mitsui Outlet Park Makuhari. This makes the area especially convenient for attending the many anime conventions, concerts, and other large-scale events held in the area.

東京車站

Traveling into central Tokyo is equally simple, and Tokyo Station is just a 20-minute trip away—no transfers needed.

新浦安站周邊景點

Want to see another side of Japan? The Shin-Urayasu area actually has some lesser-known local attractions, perfect for travelers who enjoy exploring beyond major tourist spots.

The Kasai Rinkai Park, nestled up against Tokyo Bay, is a popular leisure destination beloved by Tokyo residents, with expansive green spaces and an iconic giant Ferris wheel. Visitors can check out the famous sea views from the observation deck, and even visit the park’s aquarium, “Tokyo Sea Life Park,” if they have the time.

Meanwhile, those interested in what Japanese life used to look like, as well as retro Japanese architecture, should consider a visit to the Urayasu City Folk Museum. The museum focuses on the history and culture of Urayasu’s close relationship with the sea, but the outdoor exhibit area carefully recreates a little chunk of old Urayasu, complete with town streets and riverside scenery. Visitors can even ride the boats and enter each of the traditional houses, making it feel like you’ve stepped back into the Edo period.

A Sophisticated Tokyo Disney Resort Hotel Recommendation

東京迪士尼住宿 浦安布萊頓飯店

Overall, Shin-Urayasu is an exceptionally convenient accommodation area not only for Tokyo Disney Resort trips, but also for anyone planning to attend an event at Makuhari Messe, go shopping at Mitsui Outlet Park Makuhari, or just explore Tokyo and the surrounding areas. Among all of Urayasu’s hotels, Urayasu Brighton Hotel Tokyo Bay stands out thanks to its unbeatable location, elegant accommodations, and memorable gourmet offerings. For travelers who still cherish the sense of childlike wonder required to enjoy Tokyo Disney Resort, but can also appreciate quality and sophistication, this is a hotel well worth considering.
