Fashion in Japan 1945-2020 ~ Postwar Japanese Fashion from Monpe Work Pants to Sustainability (Tokyo)
This exhibition looks at how Japanese fashion has changed and evolved, following the paths of Japanese high-fashion designers, along with the influences and movements that grew from everyday fashion and small-scale trend-setters. Don’t miss Masayoshi Sukita’s iconic 1973 outfit worn by David Bowie, or the frilly dresses of lolita fashion brand Baby, the Stars Shine Bright.
