ピカソ 青の時代を超えて
Before Picasso became one of the most famous artists of the 20th century, just like so many young artists, he had to struggle to develop and discover his own style. Of course, for Picasso, that search helped to create an iconic moment in art history! Picasso’s blue period, and the moody blue paintings that resulted, are still instantly recognizable, despite many of the works being painted over and lost. This exhibition seeks to show how they weren’t just a passing style for the artist, but a starting point for Picasso’s masterpieces, leading him in the direction of Cubism, and world renown.
