デスノート 原画展
More than a dozen years after the manga and the anime came to an end, Death Note is still a massive hit around the world. Fans are still obsessed with notebook-wielding Light Yagami and his sense of murderous justice, the cryptic sleuthing and cake-eating of detective L, and all the wild twists and turns written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. So to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Death Note’s debut, this exhibition features a selection of original art from the manga, from Obata’s rough sketches to carefully illustrated and inked manga panels, plus displays with comments on what it was like to make Death Note twenty years ago. Fans will be glad to hear that there is, of course, plenty of tempting merchandise to take home as well!
