第45回足立の花火(2023)
Despite being a little less famous and a little further from the city center than some of Tokyo’s other summer fireworks festivals, Adachi’s annual fireworks displays are nothing to scoff at! Originally reaching back to a local fireworks festival in Japan’s Taisho period (1912-1926), the modern festivities are now a favorite with Adachi ward residents, and people come from around the region to see the hour-long displays along the Arakawa riverbank. Don’t miss this display of 15,000 fireworks over the water!
