Can’t get enough of Totoro? Love Kiki’s Delivery Service? Check out this new hand-embellished Ghibli merchandise!
Studio Ghibli no Ano Fuku is all about the embroidered and appliqued embellishments, with much of the embroidery being done by hand, giving it a one-of-a-kind feel. They have a small collection, with a couple of sweatshirt designs and some tote bags. While I have no doubt the cute design with Totoro, Satsuki, and Mei will do well, I'm more intrigued by the sweatshirt featuring the pendant from Castle in the Sky embroidered on the chest. Wearing it would make me feel just a little bit more like a secret princess of an ancient magical city of people who lived in the sky.
The same Totoro design has also made its way onto tote bags, alongside a pretty adorable polka-dot soot sprite design, and some simply-stitched tote bags with Jiji from Kiki's Delivery Service (or Totoro, not shown here).
