第8回 ご当地鍋フェスティバル@日比谷公園
This outdoor festival is all about one thing: Japanese hotpot! Also called the “Gotochi Nabe Festival,” the 8th annual regional hotpot festival in Hibiya Park is bringing together local varieties of hotpot from all over Japan, all in one place, plus plenty of other tasty drinks and snacks, and even some fun performances, making it a perfect way to celebrate the cool weather that autumn has brought to Tokyo. In Japan, they say that fall weather gives you an appetite, and you’ll want to make sure to arrive with an empty stomach to try as many of the nabe dishes as you can. Offerings include rich soups of spiny lobster in miso broth from Mie Prefecture, decadent pots filled with flavorful duck meat from Niigata Prefecture, meaty stews made with Yamagata beef and hunks of tasty tubers from up north, and many more local recipes that make use of the most delicious ingredients found around Japan.
