ルール?展
Rules, rules, rules; they surround us every day, governing our life through laws, protocols, social contracts both spoken and silent, and even the laws of nature, and these rules shape our thoughts and behavior. This exhibition, appropriately titled “Rules?” has been created by a team of three directors whose backgrounds have guided them towards different perspectives on the subject of rules: lawyer Tasuku Mizuno, cognitive designer Syunichi Suge, and curator Miyuki Tanaka. Together they have put together an exhibition that explores the way we understand, use, and create new rules, and simultaneously “rethinks the future of exhibitions.” Perhaps it’s no surprise that this exhibition about rules aims to break all the rules when it comes to exhibitions!
