Setagaya Bread Festival (世田谷パン祭り・La Fete du Pain Setagaya)
Oct 13, 2019 - Oct 14, 2019
The Setagaya neighborhood is known for its bakeries, making it a great place to celebrate bread of all kinds: fluffy and white, dense and brown, delicate and flakey or hearty with a good bite. With the change of Japanese era that happened this year (from Heisei to Reiwa), the Setagaya Bread Festival is also promoting a new era of bread. Join 50,000 other visitors weaving through the aisles to check out the goods of more than 120 different bakeries over two days. (Coincidentally, the second day of the event this year falls on the Japanese public holiday of "Health and Sports Day", so maybe look for some healthy whole wheat varieties?)
More detailed info TBA.
