The Shimokitazawa Curry Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and this year they've got 124 restaurants participating over the course of 18 days, offering special curry dishes and all kinds of surprises available during the event period only. On top of basic Japanese and Indian curries, options include curry burgers, curry calzones and pizza, curry soba noodles, curry takoyaki, curry taiyaki, curry gyoza, squid ink curry, wagyu beef curry, kiwi curry, bacon-walnut curry, and tons more. (Not to mention snacks like sugary parfaits made to resemble a bowl of savory curry, and coffee decorated with latte art of Curry Man, the festival's mascot.) With Tokyo's recently extended restaurant business hours in place, this is the perfect chance to add a little spice to your life. 🔥
