This year, the "Garden Necklace Yokohama" event is connecting the city's most beautiful gardens like beads on a necklace, suggesting garden tour routes and hosting special events to give locals and visitors even more reason to see the city's fantastic parks this spring and summer. As a part of that larger event, Yokohama Rose Week actually lasts for over a month, with rose festivals, garden parties, gardening classes, rose exhibitions featuring all kinds of rare varieties, and more.

*Aside from specific events, Rose Week visitors is mainly focused around the rose gardens in Yamashita Park and Yokohama English Garden.
