旧古河庭園 2023春のバラフェスティバル
Conveniently located along the northern edge of Tokyo's busy Yamanote train line, the Kyu-Furukawa Gardens are one of the big city's hidden treasures, and it truly shines at the end of each spring. Throughout May and June, the quiet green terraces explode into a rainbow of roses, and the seasonal crowds only add to the lively gathering of red, pink, and yellow petals on the fragrant flowers in every direction. Visit the festival to admire the carefully manicured rose garden, the unique Taisho-era (1912-1926) architecture of the adjoining estate, and the traditional Kyoto-style design of Kyu-Furukawa's Japanese garden as well.
