Fukushima - Tadami - Lake Tagokura
Sooth your soul with a glimpse of some of Japan's most beautiful scenery, like the view of Tagokura Lake from a passing train window. #SeeYouSoonJapan
Lake Tagokura, Tadami, Fukushima
Formed by the construction of Tagokura Dam on Tadami River in the 1950s, Lake Tagokura is now known for its serene beauty, surrounded by snowcapped mountains. While pleasure cruises make daily trips floating along the lake's placid waters, one of the best ways to see the spectacular scenery is from inside the cozy carriages of the Tadami Line, a train route that shows off some of the best views between the Aizu area and Niigata.
