Architectural Model Exhibition ~The Transitions of Culture and Thought~ (Tokyo)
Apr 28, 2022 - Oct 16, 2022
Architectural models have long served as an important cultural tool, allowing us to see new concepts and ideas from a totally different perspective, as architecture has shifted around us. This exhibition looks at architectural models themselves, particularly in Japan, from the ways they've changed with the times to the roles they've played in a historical context, while also featuring models of everything from ancient kofun structures to modern work by famous architects like Kuma Kengo.
